Day 2 - made it

After a long days riding up hills, through valleys, forests and streams we finally made it to the top of our little hill. And despite the hard work it is well worth it :).

So all sitting around breakfast table getting ready for day 2 and our 500 meter climb today. Eating as much as possible becuase its sunday and no one knows if any shops will be open. :).

Jiminey cricket - that was a tough afternoon!  Beautiful scenery but a very very large hill at the end. Scarily that wasn't one of the toughest hills on our route. Gulp...Taxi per favore

We've arrived at Pisa!  Only time I've ever walked from airport to town

...it's off to Tuscany we go! Slightly concerned that I may have overpacked - guess I'll find out when we get our bikes and panniers tomorrow.
